Melinda Gates breaks silence after Epstein files allege Bill Gates caught STD and tried to secretly slip her antibiotics

Melinda Gates has broken her silence following the release of the latest Epstein documents that allege her ex-husband, Bill Gates, wanted to slip her antibiotics after he picked up an STD – the “consequences of sex with Russian girls” and “illicit trysts,” the serial rapist claimed.

On January 30, the U.S. Department of Justice released its most extensive disclosure yet under the Epstein Transparency Act – over 3 million pages of records, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos tied to Jeffrey Epstein’s network.

The release sent shockwaves across the globe, with names like Elon Musk, Richard Branson, and President Donald Trump resurfacing in connection with the late financier’s sprawling associations.

Among the most scrutinized portions of the document trove are allegations concerning billionaire philanthropists, Bill Gates, 70, and his ex-wife, Melinda French Gates, 61.

Gates and Epstein
The two divorced in 2021 after 27 years of marriage, with reports of infidelity and Melinda’s discomfort over her husband’s meetings with Epstein, who the Microsoft co-founder first met in 2011.

According to the New York Times, Epstein engaged in discussions with both the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and JPMorgan Chase about establishing a multibillion-dollar charitable fund – an initiative that could have earned him substantial fees.Gates, insisting that his relationship with the convicted pedophile was limited to “several dinners” that went nowhere, admitted in a 2025 interview with The Wall Street Journal that his conversations with Epstein were “a huge mistake.”

“In retrospect, I was foolish to spend any time with him. And he, sort of, got time with various people by spending time with other people,” Gates told the WSJ, per People. “So yes, I think I was quite stupid. I thought it would help me with global health philanthropy. In fact, it failed to do that it was just a huge mistake.”

‘Illicit trysts’ and STDs
The new documents, however, contradict that Gates’ claims that his relationship with the late Epstein was only “several dinners.”

Included in the latest document dump are two unsent emails from Epstein’s own account, dated July 18, 2013, and apparently drafted by Epstein. While it’s unclear whether they were ever delivered to Gates, both messages are unsigned and sent from Epstein to himself.

In one email to “Bill,” dated July 18, 2023, Epstein wrote, “…you [then] implore me to please delete the emails regarding your STD, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can superstitiously give to Melinda and the description of your penis.”

In another email drafted the same day, about one hour later, Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019, wrote: “During the past few weeks I have been caught up in a severe marital dispute between Melinda and Bill. I have the greatest respect for my friend of 7 years and wish them both well.

“In my role as his right hand I had been asked on multiple occasions and in hindsight, wrongly acquiesced into participating in things that have ranged from the morally inappropriate, to the ethically unsound and had been repeatedly asked to do other things that get near and potentially over the line into the illegal.”

The message continued, “From helping Bill to get drugs, in order to deal with consequences of sex with Russian girls, to facilitating his illicit trysts, with married women, to being asked to provide Adderall [for] bridge tournaments.”

‘Unbelievable sadness’
On Feb. 3, Melinda French Gates addressed the issue in an interview with NPR, acknowledging the painful resurfacing of what she called “very, very painful times” in her marriage.

“For me, it’s personally hard whenever those details come up, right? Because it brings back memories of some very, very painful times in my marriage,” she said.

“Whatever questions remain there of what – I can’t even begin to know all of it – those questions are for those people and for even my ex-husband. They need to answer to those things, not me.”

Speaking of her “unbelievable sadness,” she explained that despite her own marital struggles, she feels more for the young girls who were abused by Epstein and his network.

“I’m able to take my own sadness and look at those young girls and say, my God, how did that happen to those girls?” she said, adding, “At least for me, I’ve been able to move on in life, and I hope there’s some justice for those now-women.”
